What To Expect
My therapeutic approach
My therapeutic approach is creative and rooted in an embodied psychodynamic background. I assess individual needs and family history when working with children, meeting with parents to gain a comprehensive understanding of the child’s environment. For adults, I prioritize understanding what clients wish to address, providing a non-judgmental and safe space for exploration.
I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) and NeuroAffective Touch by emphasising the connection between mind and body. By enhancing self-awareness and emotional resilience, I employ mindfulness and trauma-informed principles, facilitating expression beyond words.
Initial Introductory Meeting
The initial introductory meeting serves as a foundational step in the therapeutic process. During this meeting, we will get to know each other, inviting you to share your story, experiences, and what brings you to therapy. You can also explore your goals for therapy and what you hope to achieve. I recognize that seeking help can feel daunting, and it’s normal to have uncertainties about the process. I am here to support your journey to healing and self-discovery, where we can finalize the location where you would like to work and schedule future sessions. This introductory meeting is an opportunity for you to assess whether my approach aligns with your needs, and I look forward to being part of your journey.
